Aux Trois Petit Cochons

So after walking around huge St. Eustache trying to find the front entrance, I finally found Clementine, who is in Paris visiting family. We went for coffee in a really awesome pedestrian area by Les Halles called Montorgueil. It had a really nice, mixed crowd and reminded me of the Mission, but cleaner and without homeless people. And with cute escargot restaurants instead of taquerias (mmm...burrito).

After coffee, we went to dinner at Aux Trois Petit Cochons, on Rue Tiquetonne, and met some of Clementine's friends, one of which knew Julien from school, which was a funny pseudo-coincidence. Everyone was really fun and they all pretended to understand my french.

I had already had nun-dinner (vegetable soup, trout in mustard sauce, cous cous, gruyere cheese course, and fresh fruits), but I made the effort, umm...beacuse I'm polite like that, and had second dinner (white asparagus in a butter/lemon sauce and duck breast stuffed with cherries). Not wanting to be a glutton and all, I skipped dessert.

After saying goodbye, I headed home.
