Today's Introduction- 7/16

This is Rachel. She's a second grade teacher in a town between the mountains in Bakersfield and the desert. She's a little quiet and deliberate. For the first two weeks she was all buttoned-up, hair-in-a-bun, refusing to try even one bite of eclair. This past Sunday, we got caught in the rain near a patisserie, and after twenty minutes of back and forth, she decided to get, and eat, a cream puff. On Monday, the hair came down, the skirts and t-shirts came out, and ever since, she's been spending her free time making lists of all the things she wants to eat. Bonjour Rachel!
